CELEBRATING 61 YEARS OF SPIRITUALISM IN
WEST LOTHIAN

The church, which opened it's door in 1946, have always taken a full part in the community, raising over £70,000 for local Charities in their time, were able to donate over £2700 to the Old folk's day care centre last year and are well on target for beating that total this year.

Rev Brian Pitt, the longest serving Christian Spiritualist's Minister, who has served the Community since 1980 said “ Bathgate Christian Spiritualist Church has always been dedicated to helping those in need and this is one way we can truly reach out to others and help those in need.”

His Daughter, the youngest Spiritualist Minister in Scotland, Rev Mhairi Derby-Pitt (a former Well known West Lothian Journalist) added “When my mother Mary's mum & my grandmother Charlotte Whelan, Henry Thomson & Mrs MacDonald opened the doors of the church some 60 years ago, they took the decision to support everyone who came to them in need in the Region regardless of race, religion or creed and I hope that we are living up to that 60 year old legacy by continuing to regularly support charity.
